Toss, Dress or Dip

My Go To Lemon Olive Oil Vinaigrette!

  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

  • 1/4 (up to 1/3) cup extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt, more to taste

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon honey

    Optional:

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried herbs (Italian, Herbes de provence, thyme)

  • minced garlic/paste for zing



Asian Dressing I - Coconut!

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)

  • 3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

  • 1/2 to 1/4 teaspoon grated ginger (depending if you want more zing!)

  • 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar

  • crushed red pepper (to add more kick!) - adjust to your liking

  • salt and pepper to taste

Perfect on salads with mangoes, salsas or sauces for seafood (grilled fish, etc)


Asian Dressing II - Use of Fish Sauce (Yeah!)

  • 1/6 cup fish sauce

  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar

  • 1/4 cup water (other recipes don’t add water but fish sauce can be salty, add H20!)

  • 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar

  • 2 cloves garlic minced (shortcut: 1/4 teaspoon store bought garlic paste)

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Asian Dressing III - Use of Fish Sauce (Again!)

  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (i use cane sugar)

  • 2 tablespoon fresh lime juice

  • 2 tablespoon canola oil

  • lil bit of kick (add either Asian red chili, dash of chili powder OR crushed red pepper flakes)
